Warden Hill Junior School

Autumn Term 1 - 2016/17

Each half term the class teachers and other members of school staff are asked to chose a pupil from their class/group who has stood out from the others in a positive way.  This may be through good effort, outstanding behaviour, great manners, kindness to others etc.  Once selected, the children's names are called out during celebration assembly, a letter is sent home to share the good news and a certificate is put into the Golden Book for everyone to see.

Year 3

For settling in well, being a keen learner even if it's not something she finds easy.  Reading every night and always trying her best.

For always working hard and always being kind to others. 

For having an excellent attitude towards his work and learning. Also for being a good role model with his behaviour.

For always working so hard, putting in a great deal of effort in everything she does.  Being very friendly and polite. Well done Lucja!


Year 5

For having a great start to the year and always producing beautifully neat and tidy work.  He is very polite and helpful to both adults and other children.

A super start to the year!  Regular reading, homework and lovely presentation. Tyrese always has a smile and is working very hard.  Keep it up!

For joining the school and making a great effort at being a focused learner.  She is organised, kind and beginning to show real confidence at being an active learner.

Excellent start to Year 5.  Superb manners, behaviour and positive attitude to learning.

Year 4

Excellent manners.  Always listening carefully, following instructions and trying really hard - all of the time!  Great behaviour for learning.

For starting the year in a positive way and always demonstrating such a focused attitude in all lessons.

For having such a positive and infectious attitude to school life and for making such a super start to year 4.



Year 6

For having a super attitude to his learning; for always contributing to class discussions; for trying hard in all subjects and for being polite and helpful.

For having lovely attitude, a kind nature and putting some wonderful effort in to all of his work since starting year 6.

An excellent start to year 6.  Polite, hardworking and super work so far.  Roise is a good role-model for others.
