Warden Hill Junior School

Spring Term 2 - 2016/17

Each half term the class teachers and other members of school staff are asked to chose a pupil from their class/group who has stood out from the others in a positive way.  This may be through good effort, outstanding behaviour, great manners, kindness to others etc.  Once selected, the children's names are called out during celebration assembly, a letter is sent home to share the good news and a certificate is put into the Golden Book for everyone to see.

Year 3

For trying really hard to overcome distractions.  She has a conscientious attitude to her learning and always tries her best.

For being a role model to the class.  He always tries his best and is always ready to learn. 

For the great progress she has made especially in Maths. Her confidence has grown in all subjects.

For being so kind. Liam is the most sensitive of pupils and very caring.  He is a great role model.


Year 5

Super attitude to learning. Always listening, working well and always to her very best.  For being kind caring and a super class member.

For his great listening skills and confidence shown when he attempted new phrases in French.Well done!

For his positive attitude to all aspects of his class work.  Jack always listens carefully and tries his best.  He is also making a great effort to improve his handwriting.

For trying and working hard in every task and for making a huge effort to answer comprehension questions accurately.


Year 4

For being a great role model to the children in terms of behaviour and effort.  Always contributing, works collaboratively and demonstrates a really grown up attitude.

Consistent hard work and cheery natured, he always takes part with enthusiasm.

For always applying himself to his work, listening to others.  His kindness to others. Finally the humour he brings to the classroom.

For tremendous effort in her behaviour in class, a commitment in her work and a positive attitude!


Year 6

For being absolutely lovely! Insa has won us all over with her sunny disposition and winning smile - she has settled into Warden Hill Junior School so well and tries her best in everything. We are so happy she is in our class!

Regardless of which teacher is teaching her or the lesson she is taking part in, Elizabeth applies a fantastic attitude and approach to her learning.  She is an excellent role model and a delightful member of our class.

Alfie has really changed his attitude towards his learning.  He has a good sense of humour and excellent manners.
