Warden Hill Junior School

Summer Term 1

Each half term the class teachers and other members of school staff are asked to chose a pupil from their class/group who has stood out from the others in a positive way.  This may be through good effort, outstanding behaviour, great manners, kindness to others etc.  Once selected, the children's names are called out during celebration assembly, a letter is sent home to share the good news and a certificate is put into the Golden Book for everyone to see.

Year 3

 For a positive attitude to learning and all challenges she faces.  She works well independently and in groups. Hajra is a kind  and caring member of the class.

 For always being a cheerful member of the class who  continuously works hard.  Kamran is a role model for the rest  of the class.

 Excellent attitude to all aspects of the school life, continuing her  learning at home and always asking questions to move her  learning forward.

 For working hard consistently throughout the year and making  excellent progress with his language skills too.  Always polite  and friendly.  Well done Pawel.

Year 4

 For a positive attitude and an excellent effort at swimming.  For  improving his work, effort and having a more positive attitude  to learning this term.

 For always working really hard and trying her best.  Chardonae  joined our school later than her peers and since her first day  has made lots of friends and been a very helpful member of  the class.  Well done!

 For exceptional effort made in all aspects of his work this half  term, especially with his handwriting.

 For alawys working reliably without prompting or reminding.  Well done for working as hard as you do

Year 5

For making such fantastic progress in year 5 and always trying his best in everything he does.  Impeccable manners at all times.

Rosie has a positive attitude to her learning.  She is a polite and hardworking member of the class and has made steady progress so far this year.

Superb attitude, excellent behaviour for learning and always has a positive and willing attitude for a challenge. 

Year 6

For her great attitude towards her learning; for her exemplary behaviour and her advancements in both English and Maths.  Well done Jennifer!

Ano's behaviour and effort since January have improved greatly. He consciously puts his hand up to contribute, which before he found challenging.  He tries exceptionally hard, particularly in English and is taking steps in the right direction with his writing.

Polite, hardworking member of the class.  Luke always shows kindness and consideration towards others.
