Warden Hill Junior School

Summer Term 2 2016/17

Each half term the class teachers and other members of school staff are asked to chose a pupil from their class/group who has stood out from the others in a positive way.  This may be through good effort, outstanding behaviour, great manners, kindness to others etc.  Once selected, the children's names are called out during celebration assembly, a letter is sent home to share the good news and a certificate is put into the Golden Book for everyone to see.

Year 3

 For always having superb manners and being kind and helpful   to everyone.  Ire's confidence has grown immensely and she is   a wonderful role model to the rest of our class,

 For always being kind and helpful towards others.  Esh always   tries her best and is a role model to the class.

 For having a great attitude towards his work.  Always following   the Golden Rules and trying to improve his English and Maths   skills.

 Always willing to work.  First to be ready in all areas.   A super   role model to all members of the class.  Has made great   improvement in her reading, writing and maths.

Year 4

 For always having super manners and a great attitude to   learning.  An excellent helper and a great role model to others.

 For being a lovely, steady member of class.  Shannon has   consistently worked hard throughout the year and is a friendly   face every day.  She shows beautiful manners and really has   grown in confidence.

 For the fantastic effort that he has made all year and the great   progress he has made especially in reading and writing. 

 For working consistently hard throughout the whole year and   for being a super member of the class.

Year 5

Consistent hard work and a positive attitude all year works exceptionally hard and tries her best at all times.  Fantastic team work in lots of sporting events too!

For consistent hard work, super results and lovely manners.  Ashlee has had a great year!

For consistent hard work, supporting peers, excellent manners.  A true role model!

Complete transformation in her behaviour for learning.  Excellent effort and progress.  Great commitment to Maths boosters.

Year 6

For being a special member of class 13.  For always smiling, being polite and trying her best.  Sophie has been a genuine pleasure to teach.

She has made an excellent contribution to the Year 6 leavers performance, she has a lovely disposition, is polite and an excellent member of class.


An absolute pleasure to teach.  A good role model, polite and helpful.  Shamim puts 100% effort in to all of her work.
