Warden Hill Junior School

Spring Term 1 2018/19

Each half term the class teachers and other members of school staff are asked to chose a pupil from their class/group who has stood out from the others in a positive way.  This may be through good effort, outstanding behaviour, great manners, kindness to others etc.  Once selected, the children's names are called out during celebration assembly, a letter is sent home to share the good news and a certificate is put into the Golden Book for everyone to see.

Year 3

For being an excellent role model and working hard consistently in all lessons.

Showing a positive attitude to school life.  Always willing to give things a go, with a smile on her face!  A real pleasure teach.

For being hard working and showing good behaviour at all times.  Always putting in his best efforts and is a joy to teach.

For always working very hard, extending his ideas and thoughts, sharing those with his peers.  An excellent reading record too.  Friendly polite and very amenable.


Year 4

For always having a positive attitude to work, showing excellent manners and generally being a super member of  class.

For developing a positive attitude to  school and for trying hard to i,prove his behaviour.  He always tries his best even when he finds something challenging.  Well done.

For an excellent homework record and sharing her positive attitude to all aspects of her learning.

Year 5

For being such a fantastic role model. She is always doing the right thing and sets a wonderful example to follow.  She works incredibly hard and has shown great improvements in maths.  Always has a big smile on her face.

For consistently working hard in all lessons - completing homework to a good standard.  She is a caring and considerate member of the class.

For always being prepared and ready to learn, giving his best in all areas of the curriculum.  Well done!

For always being prepared for learning.  She reads every night, she is polite with impeccable manners.  She is a great role model in class.

Year 6

For always trying his best; for always showing enthusiasm for everything; for maintaining a sense of humour even when not feeling his best; for being kind, thoughtful and a generally a lovely chap!

A wonderful young man who continually tries his best which is resulting in him making progress in Year 6.  Polite and well mannered at all times. He is a fantastic role model for others to follow and a pleasure to teach.
