Warden Hill Junior School

Spring Term 2 2018/19

Each half term the class teachers and other members of school staff are asked to chose a pupil from their class/group who has stood out from the others in a positive way.  This may be through good effort, outstanding behaviour, great manners, kindness to others etc.  Once selected, the children's names are called out during celebration assembly, a letter is sent home to share the good news and a certificate is put into the Golden Book for everyone to see.

Year 3

For his consistently high standard of work and his positive attitude to learning across the curriculum.  He is also a good role model and has a good relationship with his peers.

For showing a fantastic attitude to his learning - especially in English where he has made great improvements. 

Kind and caring nature.  The way that he always treats others with respect.  He demonstrates outstanding behaviour at all times and is a role model to his peers.

For working so hard this year, showing great improvement.  He always begins work on time and tries his best too.  I am very pleased with him.

Year 4

For always working hard, showing super manners and being a great role model to others.

For always trying her best in all she does and for being a role model to the rest of the class.

For making a really good effort to get his homework done on time and to be in class on time at  the beginning of each day.

Year 5

For working extremely hard this term across all areas.  He has grown in confidence and always shows a very positive attitude.  Keep up the good work.

For all her enthusiasm in reading and for such a positive attitude to her learning every lesson.

For demonstrating a great attitude towards her learning at all times.  She consistently sets herself high standards and perseveres when they are a challenge.  She does all this with a smile and a kind heart!

Year 6

For being a lovely member of class; for always working diligently an trying her best; for never complaining, even when she's not feeling great and for showing courage in the face of adversity.  Well done Sophie!

For his excellent work in maths and dedication to Mathletics.  Always tries to improve his concentration.


Always working hard and trying to improve his work.  A role model for all others to follow.  His enthusiasm for writing and new vocabulary in particular is fantastic to see.

A quiet and hard-working member of class. Conscientious and shows a mature attitude to all aspects of her learning.  A super effort in all subjects, especially in writing.
