Warden Hill Junior School

Summer Term 1 2018/19

Each half term the class teachers and other members of school staff are asked to chose a pupil from their class/group who has stood out from the others in a positive way.  This may be through good effort, outstanding behaviour, great manners, kindness to others etc.  Once selected, the children's names are called out during celebration assembly, a letter is sent home to share the good news and a certificate is put into the Golden Book for everyone to see.

Year 3

For his consistently high standard in all lessons.  He always gives 110% at all times and always works to the best of his ability.  He is also a great role model.

Always working hard in every lesson, putting in 100% effort to all she does and being a great role model to her peers.

For making huge improvements since the start of the year. Overcoming barriers to learning and personal achievements; showing courage, respect and fantastic behaviour expectations at all times. Well done Chris!

For consistently working hard, displaying wonderful behaviour, being kind, helpful and amenable.  Fantastic reading record and homework always handed in on time too.  An absolutely marvellous role model.

Year 4

Super effort across all work.  Great improvement across the year.  Jessica always tries her best, she has been a fantastic help this year and displays excellent manners.  Well done!

For always trying his best in all he does and for his beautiful manners.  Luca is a role model for the rest of the class. Well done Luca!

For being an excellent role model in the class.  Tashseenah always tries her best, she is kind and thoughtful and does not let others around her distract her from her learning.

For developing a positive attitude to his learning.  Dravid has tried hard this year and his perseverance has paid off!  Well done.

Year 5

Consistently brilliant attitude, always has a smile on her face and has progressed well throughout the year with lots of hard work.  Well done Raneem.

For consistently making super choices in everything he does during the school day.  Such a super role model for everyone.

For making a tremendous effort to improve his concentration and effort in class.  He alawys contributes to class discussions and encourages others to join in too.

Hope always works hard and tries her best with everything.  She is a super role model and is always kind to others.



Year 6

For always doing her absolute best despite not always finding things easy; for being polite and helpful; for always showing enthusiasm in all areas of the curriculum; for always completing homework and being all round a delightful member of class.

A fantastic year!  Lovely manners, hardworking and always respectful towards adults and peers.  Excellent attitude for learning.

A fantastic year for jasmine!  She has worked extremely hard and as the SATs approached, took on a very mature attitude which has enabled her to work to her maximum.  Jasmine has an excellent sense of humour and does make class a happier and more fun place!

For having impeccable manners. A super effort with SATs - especially maths.
