Warden Hill Junior School

Summer Term 2 2017/18

Each half term the class teachers and other members of school staff are asked to chose a pupil from their class/group who has stood out from the others in a positive way.  This may be through good effort, outstanding behaviour, great manners, kindness to others etc.  Once selected, the children's names are called out during celebration assembly, a letter is sent home to share the good news and a certificate is put into the Golden Book for everyone to see.

Year 3

For always trying her best.  Sophia has shown perseverance in areas of her learning that she finds tricky as a result she is now a much more confident person.

Always being ready to learn and having fantastic behaviour for learning.  Tries 100% at all times.

The additional work he has been doing at home and the great effort he puts into his work to try to improve the presentation and content.

For being a delightful child, extremely quiet, very hard working and a pleasure to have in class.

Year 4

For working very hard to improve his handwriting, showing a really positive attitude to learning and great manners.

For making fantastic progress in both his handwriting and in Maths.  He continues to persevere when he finds something challenging.

For his enthusiasm and determination with learning his lines for our class assembly.

For making great progress with her writing this year.  She has worked very hard to included as much as she can in her writing to make it the best it can be!

Year 5

For having such a positive attitude all of the time, being extremely caring and friendly towards everyone in class and making excellent progress in her learning across all areas.  Well done Phoebe!

For improving in his reading at home and showing more enthusiasm!

For consistently working hard and being a valued member of our.

Excellent behaviour and hard work.   She has settled into class very well and is always keen to do her best.

Year 6

For always trying his best and his attitude towards his work in general.  Self-motivated, willing and a pleasure to have in the class.  A lovely lad!

For making excellent progress in maths through hard work and determination. He is an asset to class and a fantastic support to his peers.  Well done Archie!

For consistently working hard and is always being ready to learn.

For always working hard and persevering, being polite and helpful.  Always arriving at school with a positive attitude.
