The Reading Challenge 2016
During this years Reading Challenge we enjoyed a focus on books from the author Josh Lacey. Our children took part in various fun activities over a 6 week period. Our pupils were encouraged to read daily at home, as we like our children to anyway but in addition we all stopped and read for 15 minutes every day during school time. Children earned themselves prizes and non uniform days for their efforts and more importantly gained a love of reading. We were lucky to have Josh Lacey visit us along with his illustrator Garry Parsons. Here are a few pictures of the day.
