School Council Visit
On the 24th February, 2016, the School Council visited the Houses of Parliament in London. The children had a tour of the building and did a workshop on the Suffragettes, a group of women who fought for women to have the right to vote. Our children had a great time finding out lots of information about Parliament and how it works, met our local MP, Kelvin Hopkins and also discovered that our School Council represents the same fundamental British values of democracy as Government.
